On August 18, news emerged that Rongjie Energy had formally inked a framework cooperation pact with Indian energy storage systems integrator Lineage Power. The agreement outlines the supply of 4GWh of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells, slated for delivery in 2027. Based on Lineage Power's preliminary blueprint for its 2027 energy storage initiatives, the company intends to procure a combined total of 4GWh of 314Ah and 588Ah LFP battery cells from Rongjie Energy. These cells are earmarked primarily for large-scale energy storage endeavors, as well as for industrial and commercial energy storage solutions.
