In the second quarter of 2026, the NAND Flash market experienced a supply shortage due to the robust demand for Enterprise SSDs from AI servers. This situation compelled manufacturers to substantially hike product prices. Consequently, the combined revenue of the top five vendors in this sector witnessed a remarkable 77% quarter-over-quarter increase, soaring to USD 68.87 billion. Samsung emerged as the frontrunner, generating a substantial revenue of USD 23.06 billion. Trailing behind were SK Hynix, Micron Technology, Kioxia, and SanDisk, securing the second to fifth positions respectively. Notably, Micron Technology exhibited the highest growth rate among them. Looking ahead to the third quarter, although consumer demand for smartphones and PCs is sluggish, the demand for AI servers remains buoyant. Given the limited additional capacity for NAND Flash, it is anticipated that product prices will continue to bolster the industry's revenue growth.
