On Monday, a partnership was announced involving NVIDIA, OpenAI, and SB Energy. According to the partnership, OpenAI's newly established 8-gigawatt computing capacity facility will exclusively employ NVIDIA's next-generation chips. Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA, mentioned that the company anticipates each new hardware generation to yield revenues ranging from $150 billion to $200 billion. With every new iteration, NVIDIA witnesses a substantial enhancement in chip performance, accompanied by a notable increase in prices. This trend fuels consistent growth in both its profits and profit margins. Presently, NVIDIA is advocating the notion that its graphics processors represent long-term investment assets with retained value. However, this stance appears to conflict, to some extent, with its product pricing strategy.
