The resurgence of global AI-related trading has propelled South Korea's stock market into a technical bull market, marking a dramatic reversal from last month's historic plunge. On Thursday, South Korea's benchmark Kospi index closed up 3.6%, with a cumulative gain of approximately 22% since its low on July 30. Heavyweight stocks such as memory chip makers Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix contributed the most, closing up about 5% and 6%, respectively.
