Since the start of July, the cumulative price surge has reached an impressive 37.5%. VC, a pivotal film-forming additive in lithium batteries, has witnessed this recent price escalation primarily due to the enforcement of new national safety standards for power batteries, a surge in energy storage demand, and constrained supply-side capacities.
