On July 27th, NVIDIA announced on its official blog that as chip design complexity increases due to the development of CPUs, GPUs, and artificial intelligence systems, NVIDIA is collaborating with Cadence Design Systems and Synopsys to optimize key Electronic Design Automation (EDA) applications for the NVIDIA Vera CPU. Currently, NVIDIA has integrated Vera into the EDA processes for next-generation CPU and GPU development, demonstrating the significant impact of high-performance CPU architectures in accelerating engineering workloads. Looking ahead, NVIDIA plans to launch the next-generation Rosa processor featuring the NVIDIA Rigel core based on Vera, while continuously optimizing EDA applications in its CPU roadmap.
