NVIDIA Secures SK Hynix Memory Supply as Part of $500 Billion AI Deal

On July 25th, Beijing time, NVIDIA announced a cooperation with South Korea's SK Group worth over $500 billion, covering the construction of AI factories and the supply of next-generation memory. The two sides signed a letter of intent aimed at establishing AI infrastructure to meet global computing demands. The collaboration includes NVIDIA forming a long-term partnership with SK Hynix to jointly develop next-generation AI memory such as HBM, ensuring a stable supply for NVIDIA. SK Telecom will build a 2-gigawatt AI cloud computing center, adopting NVIDIA's Vera Rubin DSX and deploying accelerated computing systems based on SK Hynix's HBM4, with the first facility scheduled to go online in 2027.
