Based on reports from the Wuxi High-Tech Zone, the Finisar optical communication transceiver device project has wrapped up its yearly investment phase. Presently, certain process equipment has been set up and is ready for installation and subsequent commissioning. The company is poised to initiate partial production within this year. Once operating at full capacity, it will be capable of producing 10 million units of 800G and 1.6T optical communication transceiver devices annually. This strategic move is set to effectively bridge the capacity gap for high-end optical communication devices, bolster the support structure for the upstream and downstream segments of the optical communication industry chain, and solidify the company's market standing in the global high-speed optical communication sector.
