In June, TSMC reported revenue of NT$442.68 billion, marking a significant year-on-year surge of 67.9%. During the first quarter of 2026, the semiconductor giant achieved revenue of US$35.9 billion, a 41% increase from the same period the previous year. Its net profit for the quarter stood at US$18.16 billion, reflecting a robust 58.3% year-on-year growth. Looking ahead, TSMC anticipates its full-year revenue growth for 2026 to surpass 30%, with capital expenditures projected to approach the upper end of the US$56 billion range. Chairman Mark Liu emphasized the company's commitment to steady operations, avoiding short-term, drastic price hikes, and continuously bolstering its competitive edge in the global market.
