On July 13, South Korea witnessed a significant downturn as its KOSPI index plummeted by over 5%, sinking below the 7100-point mark. Notably, SK Hynix's shares tumbled nearly 10%, while Samsung Electronics' shares also took a hit, declining by more than 6%. This sharp decline was primarily attributed to SK Hynix's second-quarter operating profit forecast, which fell short of market expectations.
