On July 8th, the highly anticipated 2025 National Science and Technology Awards were officially unveiled in Beijing. The Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences emerged as a standout performer, securing one Second Prize in the National Technological Invention Award category and another Second Prize in the National Science and Technology Progress Award category. Specifically, the project focused on the core technologies and significant applications of the integrated circuit FinFET device process was honored with the Second Prize of the National Technological Invention Award. Meanwhile, the project centered on the research and industrial application of cutting-edge oxide semiconductor technologies for intelligent displays was recognized with the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
