On July 6, South Korean equipment maker DMS revealed that it had inked a deal with HKC Corporation, a premier domestic display panel manufacturer, to supply display equipment worth 41.3 billion Korean won (equivalent to approximately 183 million yuan). The equipment is earmarked for HKC's ongoing construction of the 6th-generation LCD H7 production line in Mianyang, Sichuan, and will offer essential hardware support for the company's expansion of panel production capacity. This contract represents 26.54% of DMS's sales from the previous year and will remain in effect until December 31 of this year. Just last month, DMS successfully landed an OLED equipment order from CSOT, valued at 67.7 billion Korean won. The most recent order from HKC underscores a steady uptick in orders amidst China's display industry investment boom.
