On the 6th, during the briefing session for the Shanghai segment of the 'Dynamic China Research Tour' themed interview activities, Luo Dajin, Director of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, highlighted that Shanghai has bolstered its strategic agility by proactively making arrangements in cutting-edge technologies and future industries. The number of strategic frontier areas under key tracking has expanded to 20. The city is home to one-third of the nation's brain-computer interface enterprises. In the first half of the year, the number of financing events and the disclosed amounts in Shanghai accounted for nearly 60% and 40% of the national total, respectively. Additionally, Shanghai has also amassed half of the nation's neutral-atom quantum computing systems, silicon photonics, and fourth-generation semiconductor enterprises. Furthermore, the city has established four municipal-level future industry clusters and two future industry cultivation zones.
