On July 6, news emerged that Analog Devices (ADI), a leading player in the analog chip sector, had sent out a notification to its customers. The company stated that, owing to a resurgence in demand, which has subsequently led to supply shortages, the lead times for some of its products have now been stretched to a staggering six months. In light of this situation, ADI is advising its customers to place their orders a minimum of six months in advance and to consider prolonging their open order cycles.
