On July 2, during an institutional research visit, HC SemiTek announced that it has sent samples of its self-developed Micro LED communication application chips to overseas customers for testing purposes. The company is actively collaborating with partners across the industrial chain to expedite the commercialization of this cutting-edge technology, although, as of now, it has not yet generated any revenue from it. HC SemiTek has successfully achieved large-scale production of 6-inch Micro LED chips, boasting production yields that surpass 90%. By adopting a large-size wafer strategy, the company has effectively reduced costs, thereby establishing formidable barriers to entry in the mass production of microdisplay chips and pixel devices. This achievement positions HC SemiTek as a frontrunner in the commercial bulk delivery of such advanced products.
