On July 3, Sotheby’s auction house revealed plans to auction the black leather jacket famously worn by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang. Bidding will open on July 7, with the jacket estimated to fetch between $40,000 and $60,000 (roughly RMB 272,000 to 408,000). Designed by luxury brand Tom Ford, this piece was worn by Huang at the Hon Hai Tech Day in Taipei on October 18, 2023, and bears his personal autograph. The auction is being organized by venture capital firm Long Journey, with all proceeds earmarked for The Edge Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to nurturing emerging talent in the tech industry.
