According to TrendForce's latest memory price survey, the DRAM market will face extreme tightness in the third quarter of 2026. Affected by declining demand for consumer applications and a high base effect, contract prices are expected to increase by 13% to 18% quarter-over-quarter, with the growth rate narrowing. NAND Flash demand is primarily driven by AI inference and large-scale data center construction. However, as contract prices have reached historical highs, consumer-side demand has slowed, and price tolerance is nearing its limit. Overall contract prices are expected to rise by 10% to 15% quarter-over-quarter, with the growth rate significantly smaller compared to previous quarters.
