Insights from industry chain sources suggest that Intel is contemplating prolonging the service life of the Raptor Lake platform. It's important to note that this decision is based on information gathered from supply chain communications, rather than being part of an officially announced public roadmap. As per reports, Intel has intentions to roll out a new processor dubbed 'Raptor Lake Next.' This launch is anticipated to take place in the first half of 2027, succeeding the upcoming next-generation Nova Lake processor (which is set to make its debut at CES next year). During this period, it's expected that both newer and older architectural product lines will coexist in the market. This coexistence will be mainly driven by practical considerations related to platforms and components, rather than strictly following the conventional product update cycles.
