On June 1, 2026, all three major A-share indices experienced a collective downturn. The Shanghai Composite Index dipped by 0.27%, the Shenzhen Component Index witnessed a 1.51% drop, and the ChiNext Index tumbled by 2.15%. Leading the decline were the semiconductor, communication equipment, and electronic components sectors.
