During the 2026 Taipei International Computer Exhibition, AMD made a significant announcement with the global rollout of the Radeon RX 9070 GRE graphics card, which comes with a price tag of $549. Previously, this graphics card was exclusively available in specific regions, notably China. Built upon the cutting-edge RDNA 4 architecture and incorporating a refined Navi 48 GPU core, it boasts an impressive array of features, including 3072 stream processors, 48MB of Infinity Cache, and a substantial 12GB of GDDR6 memory. This strategic move positions the RX 9070 GRE as a direct competitor to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, with the aim of addressing and filling the void in AMD's mid-range graphics card offerings.
