On June 1, the A-share market indices exhibited divergent trends. Specifically, the GEM Index experienced a decline of over 1% after having previously surged by more than 1%. Meanwhile, the Shanghai Composite Index edged up by 0.09%, while the Shenzhen Component Index slipped by 0.54%. Leading the downward movement were sectors such as optical fiber, optical communication, semiconductor chips, and cultivated diamonds. Across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock exchanges, nearly 1,500 stocks witnessed a decrease in their values.
