As reported by Reuters, on May 27, Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA, announced at the opening ceremony of the company's Taiwan headquarters in Taipei that NVIDIA has plans to invest roughly $150 billion annually in the Taiwan region of China. He hailed the Taiwan region as the 'epicenter' of the AI revolution and forecasted that it would continue to hold its position as a worldwide technology manufacturing powerhouse for many years to come. Huang disclosed that NVIDIA's investment in Taiwan stood at approximately $10 billion to $15 billion four to five years prior. However, that figure has now surged to $100 billion and is set to climb even higher to $150 billion. The construction of the headquarters is slated to begin this year, with the goal of being fully operational by 2030.
