In the first quarter of 2026, global DRAM revenue surged by 80% quarter-over-quarter, reaching a record high. This growth was primarily driven by robust market demand, strengthening memory prices, and an increased adoption of LPDDR5 in HBM and AI data center infrastructure. Samsung led in the memory business, followed by SK Hynix and Micron. DRAM prices are expected to continue growing by 50% quarter-over-quarter in the second quarter, covering both HBM and standard DRAM.
