NVIDIA has announced that with the completion of the migration of key features to the new NVIDIA application, the GeForce Control Panel, which has been in use for 20 years, will be retired. NVIDIA had planned to replace the traditional control panel with a new application more than two years ago, and now that the migration of core features has been completed, the transition period has ended. The new application integrates functions such as driver updates and game optimization, making it more aligned with the modern software ecosystem. Older users can continue to use the legacy version, but it will not receive security patches or feature fixes. Professional graphics cards, such as the RTX PRO series, will remain unaffected until the migration of professional features is completed. NVIDIA recommends that regular users switch to the new application to enjoy more unified and convenient services.
