Intel CEO Chen Liwu recently stated on CNBC's 'Mad Money' program in the United States that Intel's foundry business is not only 'extremely important' but also a 'national treasure' of the United States. He revealed that with the significant improvement in the yield rate of the 18A process, an increasing number of external clients are proactively seeking cooperation in advanced processes and advanced packaging. Chen Liwu pointed out that currently, over 90% of the world's most advanced processors are manufactured outside the United States, and relocating some high-end production capacity back to the United States is crucial for the country's supply chain security. He also emphasized that President Trump is 'one of the biggest supporters' of Intel's foundry business.
