On May 18th, WiseRoad Technology revealed during its Q1 performance briefing that VisIC, an Israeli company in its investment portfolio and a global frontrunner in third-generation semiconductor GaN (gallium nitride) device design, is dedicated to developing 400V, 650V, and 800V inverter solutions leveraging silicon-based gallium nitride technology. VisIC's D3GAN technology boasts several benefits, including low on-resistance, high switching frequency, minimal losses, and exceptional reliability. Presently, VisIC is prioritizing the automotive inverter sector as a pivotal growth area, actively engaging in chip and module design collaborations with renowned automakers and TIER1 suppliers. Furthermore, the national key R&D program project titled "Advanced Packaging and Testing Platform for MEMS Sensor Chips," spearheaded by WiseRoad Technology, is advancing steadily, yielding concrete outcomes in technology development, customer engagement, and commercialization, and has now entered the project acceptance and conclusion phase.
