In a magazine interview released on Monday, U.S. President Trump remarked that he believes he should have pushed for a larger shareholding in Intel on behalf of the U.S. government. During the previous year, the Trump administration acquired a 10% stake in Intel, allocating around $10 billion towards the construction or enlargement of factories within the United States. Just eight months following the completion of this transaction, the market valuation of the government's Intel shares had surged past the $50 billion mark.
