On May 16, 2026, Yin Zhihao, the Chairman of AMEC, remarked on CCTV that although the majority of domestic clients express a willingness to utilize equipment produced within the country, they tend to perceive foreign equipment as superior, largely due to a first-impression bias. Notably, equipment from leading foreign manufacturers often undergoes two to three years of rigorous refinement and improvement prior to its introduction into the Chinese market. Given this context, Yin Zhihao expressed his hope that domestic clients would extend more opportunities to local equipment companies, thereby fostering growth and innovation within the domestic industry.
