In a collaborative effort, the Jiangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Huazhong Agricultural University, and Suzhou LASO Biochip Technology Co., Ltd. have collectively introduced China's inaugural 20K solid-phase gene chip tailored for Brassica napus, christened as 'Zhongxinyou 1'. This milestone marks a significant departure from the nearly two-decade-long dominance of foreign solid-phase chip technology, ushering China's rapeseed (canola) industry into a novel epoch of intelligent breeding, transcending the boundaries of traditional methods.
