NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang refuted the notion that 'China cannot obtain AI chips' in a podcast episode. He pointed out that China, as the world's second-largest computing market, boasts a massive scale of computing power. Despite being affected by export controls, which prevent it from acquiring the most advanced EUV lithography equipment, China has a large number of underutilized data centers and abundant electricity, allowing it to bridge the process gap by stacking chips. Huang also argued that China dominates the mainstream chip sector and has excess production capacity, making the claim that 'China cannot possess AI chips' entirely unfounded.
