Representatives from the Terafab project team have been actively seeking information on a wide array of chip manufacturing equipment, with particular focus on obtaining quotes and understanding delivery schedules.

In recent weeks, their outreach has extended to manufacturers specializing in photomasks, substrates, etchers, deposition tools, cleaning systems, testing apparatus, and beyond. Furthermore, the Terafab team has explored potential collaboration with Samsung Electronics. However, Samsung has put forth a proposal to enhance production capacity for Tesla at its existing facility in Taylor, Texas, rather than directly participating in the Terafab project.
