Recently, Professor Quan Pan’s research team from the Shenzhen-Hong Kong College of Microelectronics at the College of Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), has made significant advancements in the field of high-speed communication and optoelectronic integrated circuit design. Their notable achievements have been published at prestigious international conferences, including the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) and the Optical Fiber Communication Conference (OFC). The published research highlights the development of three innovative chips: a low-power chiplet interconnection bidirectional transmission chip, an energy-efficient high-speed chiplet interconnection and memory interface chip, and a monolithically integrated high-speed optoelectronic receiver chip.
