According to data released by the South Korean government on Tuesday, spurred by the soaring demand for semiconductors amid the global artificial intelligence (AI) boom, South Korea’s exports of information and communication technology (ICT) products more than doubled year-on-year, reaching a record US$43.51 billion in March. This marks a significant increase from the US$20.52 billion recorded during the same period last year, with semiconductor exports serving as the primary growth driver.
