This initiative is geared towards expediting the growth of the fifth-generation Reduced Instruction Set Computing (RISC-V) sector and fostering the continuous evolution of artificial intelligence terminals. During the 2026 National Conference on High-Quality Development of the Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry, pertinent officials underscored the importance of intensifying forward-looking initiatives in the '15th Five-Year Plan' period. They highlighted the necessity of nurturing emerging industries, diversifying the consumer electronics market, and ensuring the effective execution of pertinent tasks. Concurrently, there will be a concerted effort to propel the advancement of the advanced computing industry, break away from the cut-throat 'involution' competition prevalent in the photovoltaic sector, bolster the robustness and security of industrial and supply chains, and expedite the issuance of policy documents in domains such as spatiotemporal information.
