On April 11, during Phison Electronics' Family Day celebration, Kristian Pan, the company's CEO, declared that employees working at key sites in Taiwan, Mainland China, and abroad would be granted an extra month's incentive bonus, amounting to over NT$400 million, as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication. He further mentioned that should the company's business performance continue to soar in the latter half of the year, there would be even more opportunities for rewards. Currently, Phison has a global workforce of nearly 5,000, with the majority of them qualifying for this bonus. Pan also highlighted that the demand for AI, cloud computing, PCs, and smartphones is projected to skyrocket in the second half of the year, potentially leading to a significant shortage of memory chips.
