According to the latest memory industry research by TrendForce, major manufacturers have not changed their strategy of exiting the production of mature products below DDR4. With the market supply structure continuing to tighten, overall prices have surged significantly over the past few months. Considering factors such as supply reduction, order shifts, and the lag in capacity expansion among mature process suppliers, TrendForce forecasts that Consumer DRAM contract prices will continue to rise by 45%-50% quarter-over-quarter in the second quarter of 2026.
