Recently, the team led by Deng Shikai at the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has successfully developed a flexible nanolaser based on perovskite quantum dots. This innovative laser exhibits remarkable stability in both wavelength and intensity, even when subjected to mechanical deformation. Notably, it maintains consistent performance under a tensile strain of up to 15%, paving the way for groundbreaking advancements in intelligent sensing, augmented reality (AR) displays, and bio-integrated photonic technologies.
