Samsung has recently introduced the 8TB variant of its 870 EVO series SSDs, bearing the model number MZ-77E8T0B. This new addition is now accessible in the European market, carrying a price tag of 1,300 euros (equivalent to roughly 10,370.1 yuan). Leveraging the cutting-edge 6th-generation V-NAND technology, this series incorporates 128-layer stacked 3D TLC flash memory alongside an MKX controller. Across the entire lineup, LPDDR4 cache is employed, with the 8TB model boasting an impressive 8GB cache and a durability rating of up to 4800TBW. In terms of performance, it achieves maximum sequential read and write speeds of 560MB/s and 530MB/s, respectively. Meanwhile, its peak random read and write speeds reach 98,000 IOPS and 88,000 IOPS, correspondingly.
