On March 26, 2026, Intel unveiled the vPro business platform based on the Core Ultra 300 series, covering the full product stack from Core Ultra 5 332 to Core Ultra X9 388H, touting it as the most advanced business client product portfolio. All models support Intel vPro technology and are included in the SIPP program, targeting the 2026 commercial PC market and set to power over 125 end-point products. Flagship models like the Core Ultra X9 388H feature a 16-core configuration with a maximum turbo frequency of 5.1GHz and integrate an NPU with 50 TOPS computing power. Some high-end models are paired with Intel Arc B390 graphics cards, while mid-range and low-end models are equipped with 4-core or 2-core Intel integrated graphics. In terms of platform scalability, it offers up to 20 PCIe lanes, integrates four Thunderbolt 4 ports, and supports standalone Thunderbolt 5, with wireless connectivity covering Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. Memory support includes LPDDR5x-9600 or DDR5-7200, with some configurations expandable up to 128GB. The processor's base power consumption is 25W, with high-end models reaching a maximum turbo power consumption of 80W. The Intel vPro certification program optimizes application and accessory performance through collaboration with ISVs and the ecosystem, reducing CPU utilization, optimizing power efficiency, and minimizing background operations. Preliminary results show up to a 59% reduction in CPU utilization, up to a 56% improvement in energy efficiency, and up to a 74% reduction in background activities. The Intel vPro intelligent management and Device IQ features introduce AI-driven analytics capabilities to proactively detect, diagnose, and resolve device issues, reducing downtime and easing the operational burden on IT support teams. The Intel vPro Fleet device management service simplifies out-of-band management and disaster recovery, integrating with Microsoft Intune to eliminate the need for additional infrastructure. The Intel vPro reliability enhancement feature adds Intel full-disk storage encryption, compatible with Microsoft BitLocker, capable of detecting malware threats in real-time.
