Sanan Optoelectronics recently made an announcement, revealing that on March 25, it received a notification from its controlling shareholder, Sanan Electronics. According to the notice, Sanan Electronics had pledged 32 million shares to Bohai International Trust Co., Ltd. and another 12.7 million shares to an individual named Wang Linli, bringing the total number of pledged shares to 44.7 million. This move was made to secure funds for repaying borrowings and bolstering working capital. On the very same day, Sanan Electronics also released 32 million shares that were previously pledged to Bohai International Trust. Following these transactions, the cumulative number of shares pledged by Sanan Electronics stood at 625 million, representing 51.47% of its total shareholdings in the company. When considering the pledged shares of both Sanan Electronics and its controlling shareholder, Sanan Group, the cumulative total reached 794 million shares, accounting for 54.01% of the shares held by the two entities in the company. Importantly, this share pledging activity will not lead to any change in the company's actual control.
