On March 24, 2026, during the 2026 XuanTie RISC-V Ecosystem Conference, the Alibaba DAMO Academy introduced its latest flagship RISC-V CPU, the XuanTie C950. This processor achieved a remarkable single-core general-purpose performance score exceeding 70 points in the SPECint2006 benchmark test, establishing a new global benchmark for RISC-V CPUs. Featuring an in-house-developed AI acceleration engine, the CPU is inherently capable of supporting large-scale models with hundreds of billions of parameters, including Qwen3 and DeepSeek V3, for deployment in cloud computing, generative AI, advanced robotics, edge computing, and other sectors. Furthermore, the inclusion of QianWen in the XuanTie RISC-V Wujian Alliance is set to further promote 'chip-model integration', expediting the widespread industrial adoption of RISC-V and large-scale models.
