On March 24, SK Hynix announced that in preparation for the large-scale mass production of new products, it would spend KRW 11.95 trillion (approximately US$7.97 billion) on purchasing ASML's extreme ultraviolet lithography equipment, with plans to complete the procurement by December 31, 2027.
