On March 24, our reporter obtained information from the Chengdu High-tech Zone indicating that the intelligent and eco-friendly technology upgrade project for the specialized ultra-thin glass substrate production line (Q1 line) at Chengdu Zhongguang Electric Technology Co., Ltd., recently achieved a successful ignition. This milestone signifies the production line’s official entry into the final phase of resuming its operations. Following ignition, the production line will proceed to the kiln baking and temperature elevation stage, making a concerted final effort to swiftly produce qualified products and reinstate its full production capacity. Notably, this production line represents China’s inaugural 0.5mm LCD glass substrate line, featuring three 4.5-generation facilities constructed in its initial phase and boasting an annual production capacity of 3 million units.
