A-Share Market Experiences a Surge in Cash Dividends: Over 100 Shanghai-Listed Firms Plan to Distribute Over 80 Billion Yuan

By March 22, 2026, a total of 122 companies listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange had unveiled their 2025 annual reports. Out of these, 101 companies have announced plans to distribute dividends, representing a proportion exceeding 80%. Specifically, among the 89 companies on the main board that have published their annual reports, 70 are projected to distribute a combined total of 76.524 billion yuan in dividends. Meanwhile, among the 33 companies on the STAR Market that have released their annual reports, 31 are expected to distribute dividends amounting to 3.788 billion yuan. Notably, among the dividend-distributing companies, CITIC Bank, Sinopec, and Industrial Rich Link stand out for their substantial dividend payouts.
