Technology media outlet Notebookcheck has uncovered that, following in the footsteps of Chuwi, the A15 Pro model from the domestic notebook brand Ninkear has also been implicated in CPU mislabeling. Specifically, it has been using the Ryzen 5 5500U processor to pose as the 7430U. While the sample unit reviewed last year was indeed outfitted with the 7430U, recent versions available in the market have been found with this deceptive practice. Investigations have revealed that both the notebooks and motherboards involved are manufactured by Shenzhen Yidao Information Co., Ltd. It is suspected that the manufacturer may have switched processors and altered the BIOS to conceal the change last summer or fall. Given that the 5500U and 7430U share similar specifications, this deception was challenging to spot. However, the latest version 2.19 of CPU-Z software is now capable of detecting this discrepancy. Ninkear's official team has launched an investigation into the matter, informed distributors and users, and set up a dedicated service team to address any quality-related complaints.
