Tesla's in-house chip manufacturing endeavor, known as the 'Terafab' project, is on the brink of initiation. Musk disclosed that this ambitious project is set to achieve an annual production capacity surpassing 1 terawatt of computing power—encompassing logic, memory, and packaging components. Approximately 80% of this output will be earmarked for space applications, while the remaining 20% will cater to terrestrial needs.
