Seagate recently launched the FireCuda X1070 solid-state drive, which supports the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface and NVMe 1.4 protocol, while also being backward compatible with the PCIe 3.0 x4 interface. Optimized for gaming PCs and handheld consoles, this product has been certified by the ROG X series, balancing performance and thermal design to ensure smooth gameplay over extended periods. The FireCuda X1070 adopts the M.2 2280 form factor and features a DRAM-less, low-power design. It is equipped with the Tenafe TC2201 controller chip and Micron's 232-layer 3D QLC NAND flash memory, offering capacities of 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB. In terms of performance, it achieves sequential read speeds of up to 7200MB/s, with write speeds ranging from 6000MB/s to 6500MB/s depending on capacity, and random read/write performance reaching up to 1 million IOPS. The product's average operational power consumption ranges from 4.6W to 5.7W, with an endurance rating of 600TBW to 2400TBW, and supports Windows 11 and Linux operating systems. Currently, the FireCuda X1070 is available overseas, priced at $239.99, $459.99, and $829.99 for the 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB versions, respectively. Seagate offers a five-year limited warranty and a three-year Rescue data recovery service.
