Intel’s entry-level processor from the Arrow Lake series, the Core Ultra 3 205T, has recently surfaced in the PassMark benchmark database, showcasing a notable 4% lead in single-core performance over its higher-tier counterpart, the Ultra 5 225T. While the Arrow Lake series remains somewhat elusive in the retail market, its actual product range is quite extensive, with numerous models being exclusive to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), thereby limiting their availability to general consumers. Benchmark data reveals that the Ultra 3 205T achieved a score of 4,432 points in single-core performance and 23,436 points in multi-core performance. Owing to its lower core count, its multi-core performance trails behind the Ultra 5 225T by approximately 10%. In terms of technical specifications, the Ultra 3 205T boasts an 8-core architecture, 15MB of L3 cache, and a TDP (Thermal Design Power) of 35W, making it an ideal choice for compact and ultra-thin computing devices. During testing, the processor attained a maximum turbo frequency of 4.68GHz. Furthermore, a second test sample demonstrated a significant boost in multi-core performance, reaching 25,949 points, nearly on par with the average performance of the Ultra 5 225T.
