According to reports, Samsung Electronics is currently channeling its efforts into enhancing the yield rate of its 1c DRAM technology, with a strategic focus on securing a larger market share in the HBM4 sector. To achieve this objective, Samsung has made the decision to enlarge the dimensions of its sixth-generation 10nm-class DRAM chips. This move is anticipated to bolster the stability of both DRAM and HBM4 technologies. Presently, Samsung's 1c DRAM yield rate stands at over 80%, while the HBM4 yield rate is nearing 60%. The company is also looking forward to further scaling up its production capabilities.
