NVIDIA's Chief Financial Officer Colette Kress stated during the Q4 FY2026 earnings call that due to TSMC's limited wafer foundry capacity prioritizing AI chips for data centers, coupled with DRAM manufacturers fully focusing on HBM3E memory production leading to insufficient GDDR7 graphics memory supply, the company expects extremely tight supply conditions for consumer-grade graphics cards to persist through Q1 FY2027 (February-April 2026) and beyond, with little likelihood of improvement before the end of 2026.
